Well, the engagement of Karp Resources to work through an in depth assessment of our total food assets including producers, processors, distributors and the institutions, grocers, and restaurants that prepare and provide household and individual food options will yield a fact-based direction on a road map to take us from the current local system to one which meets the Greater New London needs over time. It is important to note that this is a journey, one that continues to blossom year after year.

This study will provide an understanding of Southeastern Connecticut's capacity and where we have opporunities to build up infrastructure and access capabilities.
