The Coalition is comprised of nearly 50 stakeholders representing food producers, processors, distributers, institutions, grocers, restaurants, community gardens, nutritionists, food banks and local food activists.

The Coalition established a Working Group chartered to plan both short and longer term directions, including governance, strategies and implementation plans.

A major role is communicating to the public at large the status of these effort, and to coordinate the public and private community.

This site has a Blog which will post articles and offer an opportunity for readers to comment on each of these. The Working Group will also be in the local Times newspaper which is delivered to area households along the shoreline area. The expectation is that with this, and other publicity we will maintain a focus on this important area initiative and build our community of practice among the public who include all of our stakeholders.
